School is upon us and there isn’t a better time to get organized before all the stuff comes piling in from school.. art supplies, work papers, report cards, etc. I am going to help you how to organize school papers and everything else. This system that works so great for my 4 kiddos. This is really easy to do so don’t worry about feeling overwhelmed with this project, I promise that if I can do it, than you can too! I hope it helps you as much as it has helped us!
HOW TO ORGANIZE SCHOOL PAPERS
I will show you in 3 easy steps of how to organize school papers, any keep sake art work, or pictures!
STEP 1 -ORGANIZE FILE BIN
You will need a bin for each child. I got the clear STERILITE plastic filing bins that hold files in them. The lids are nice to have because it make them great for stacking.
STEP 2 –FILES FOR SCHOOL PAPERS
Pick which files you want in your Childs bin. I got the variety pack that comes with 4 different colors and since I have 4 kids, I bought 4 packs and each child has their own color.
STEP 3 -ORGANIZE WITH LABLES
If you don’t already have a label maker, now is the time to purchase one. They come in handy and it makes everything always look so much more clean and organized. The one I bought was under $30 and I’m telling you, it was worth every penny! I used my label maker for the tabs, but you of course you can always write on there too. How I labeled mine was.. BABY, PRESCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN, 1ST, 2ND, 3RD, 4TH etc. up to 12th grade.
THAT’S IT!
How easy is that! I add all my kids school pictures, sports pictures, pictures they draw, or cute writing papers that become keep sakes!
Do you feel motivated?! I hope so and for help on how to keep kids motivated click here. I hope this helps you be more organized during the school year. We all can’t stand the piles of papers that accumulate in the kitchen because we’re not sure where to put them. Now you can easily go put it in their bin and it’s organized for you!
