How to get rid of seasonal allergies naturally
First- Probiotics
Probiotics! When I had my last baby I started to get seasonal allergies. I’ve never had allergies before in my life! Pregnancy can do crazy things and one thing it can do is change the bacteria in your gut. After finding this out, I started taking Just Thrive Probiotics! Because they work so strongly in rebuilding the lining of the gut and 100% get absorbed into gut, I saw a huge improvement! It’s amazing what can happen when you focus on healing your gut! 2- LOCAL Raw Honey
LOCAL Raw Honey. Local honey works better to relieve symptoms because there is some of your local pollen in that honey. Over time your body can start to get immune to that pollen and relieve some symptoms. Similar to the idea of getting allergy shots. Be sure to check the label and see where it’s from. Try having a couple Tbs per day.
3- Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar. It helps boost the immune system, helps to break up mucus and supports lymphatic drainage. Brags brand is my favorite, it has “the mother” in it and is all organic. Three times per day, mix 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar (the Brags brand) with 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and a half-tablespoon of local raw honey and drink.
4-Vitamin A
Vitamin A. 2,000 micrograms per day: Vitamin A boosts the immune system, fights inflammation and has antihistamine properties.
5-Zinc
Zinc helps to heal adrenal fatigue caused by chronic stress. It helps to regulate how your body stores histamine. Try taking 30 milligrams per day.
6-Drink Water
Drink water. Drink eight to ten glasses of fresh water each day. If you get dehydrated, any mucus you have will become much more difficult to get rid of!
7- Bromelain
Bromelain is the enzyme found in papaya and pineapple. Homeopathic Doctors have found bromelain to be effective in helping to reduce swelling in the sinuses and also improving breathing by reducing swelling. Try taking 1,000 milligrams per day.
8- Vitamin C
Vitamin C is said to help lower histamine levels. Try taking 2,000 milligrams daily to help reduce levels.
9- Organic Veggies
Organic veggies such as, cabbage, beets, carrots and yams. Also include ginger, garlic, horseradish and onions. Ginger can be particularly helpful because it helps to warm the body and break down toxins.
10- Essentail Oils
Diffuse essential oils. Eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint oil help open up the nasal passages and increase circulation.
11. HEPA filters
When having a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, it traps airborne irritants such as pollen, dust, and pet dander. When doing that it reduces allergens in your home.
12. Keep Your Windows Closed
When it starts to warm up, it’s tempting to open your windows at night! Try and fight that urge because when you your windows are open, it lets all that pollen into your home. Keep those windows close so you can keep your air clean in your house.
In Conclusion
There are many natural ways to get rid of seasonal allergies. I hope you can give some of these a try and they work for you! Good luck!
