Fresh peach season is here! Oh, man! I love peaches so much that I even grow my own! I used to drive clear up to Peach Day’s in Peach City (Brigham City, Utah) to get the best ones! Over the years, I have tried pretty much every peach recipe you could think of: AMAZING fresh peach pie, baked peach pie, peach crisp, dutch oven peach cobbler. peach raspberry jam, peach ice cream…. I know how to preserve peaches by canning peaches, freezing peaches (I have an amazing freezer peaches recipe), and making peach jam. And, trust me on this one, I know all of the best peach recipes that exist.

This amazing fresh peach pie recipe is my all time favorite recipe that has ever existed in the history of the world. I’m not kidding. It’s that good. Almond extract, cinnamon, lemon juice, sugar… I mean, what’s not to love? AND it is so easy, Beth could make it! AND AND it only takes 15 minutes to make. It’s a winner every time.

Tips for Making Amazing Fresh Peach Pie
- Buy a pre-made pie crust in the freezer section of your grocery store. The pie crust is not the star of this show and doesn’t need to be homemade. I like Marie Callender’s.
- Make sure you have extra peaches as some will be too hard or some might have too many bruises.
- Chill peach and sauce mixture in the fridge for up to 2-8 hours in a bowl before putting it in the pie crust. This does two things: Allows it to set up properly. And prevents the pie crust from becoming soggy.
